    Thanks for the music. The lock is closing again tommorrow for 24 hours. Looks like we should be able to continue our trip on Tuesday. Not looking forward to 3 13 hour days to Columbus. We don't have a windless so hauling a 55lb anchor by hand is out of the question. Anyone ever seen a hatteras without a windless? We did anchor out on our trip with Randy last year but is a pia.

    Spend a few bucks and install a simple anchor chute. You can walk right up to West and have it installed inside an hour. It'll give you leverage in retrieving the anchor and make life much simpler.

    Got to Bobby's about 0100 this morning. We averaged about6.5 kts running up hill been a good day. Only bad thing was Bobby's fuel a 4 45 per. We are currently about 20 south of demopolis. Columbus tommorrow

    Fuel at Demopolis was $2.99 a couple of weeks ago. It'll be interesting to see where it is now. B
