Price drop. $99,000. The admiral says she doesn't want to own two boats any more.
Well, Ambrosia Mae is for sale. Readers Digest version: I've owned her for 18 years and have constantly maintained and upgraded her. Most recent project was to R&R both Heat Exchangers and Aftercoolers for service (acid dipped the HE's and had the AC's hot tanked). While I had her apart, I had the blowers professionally rebuilt by Jimmy Mango, one of the best DD guys in the area. Way too much to detail to put in an intro paragraph. If interested, the full listing follows the pics. Thanks for looking.
Tons more pics and complete 18 year maintenance records available if interested.

Description:
Ambrosia Mae is a well found, versatile Hatteras Sportfisherman. Seasoned boaters know the Hatteras name to be synonymous with quality. Equally suited and equipped for comfortable family cruising or hard core offshore fishing, she offers flexibility to the captain who wishes to balance both requirements. This boat has been owned, operated, thoroughly maintained, and regularly updated by the same CG Licensed 100GT Master Captain, an avid offshore fisherman, for the past 18 seasons. Safety, dependability, durability, and comfort are his primary objectives and this vessel achieves all four. From the 6 man Avon liferaft with its own EPIRB, to the reasonably powered 435HP/552CID (<79% ratio) 6v92TA Detroit Diesel engines, to the legendary Hatteras hull, to the abundant amenities, this boat will please the fishing buddies as well as the Admiral.
The air conditioned and heated salon boasts a custom teak entry door and teak cabinetry all built by the owner, a teak and holly sole, surround sound stereo and TV, a wet bar, and icemaker. The old 3-knob AC panel has been replaced with an electronic FX-1 Control unit. An input selection on the Sharp TV allows guests in the salon to observe the Simrad NSE navigation display on the bridge. This is a great feature when chunking for tuna at night offshore. Nothing gets the crews attention quite like seeing tuna marks on the big screen. The custom teak internally lighted cabinet on which the TV is mounted has two large access doors and easily accommodates the personal gear for a 6 man crew.
Down 3 steps to port is the galley, which was refurbished in 2016. It features corian counters with underhung sink, and Scandvik faucet with potable charcoal filtered water. Forward of the sink is ample counterspace with a built in Ramblewood 2 burner inductive cooktop. Below the cooktop is a Verona 2-rack built in convection wall oven which easily accommodates a prime rib roast big enough for 6 hungry fishermen. Forward of that is the full size GE refrigerator. The galley also features an LG microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The galley features abundant cabinet and drawer space as well as storage under the steps and a massive storage area under and aft of the sink.
Forward to stbd is the master suite, featuring a comfortable full size berth with a custom Nautopedic mattress. The master suite features a large closet as well as ample cabinets and drawers. The master suite and V-berth are cooled and heated by a dedicated Cruiseair split system with an FX-1 control panel.
Forward of the master suite to stbd is the head, with a full enclosed shower, Atlantes Freedom head, and corian counter and sink with Aquapure charcoal filtered potable water. All waste lines were recently replaced with Trident Green Stripe hose. The holding tank pumpout tube was replaced at the same time.
The V-berth features two single berths, a full sized closet, several large drawers, and a private sink with Aquapure charcoal filtered water.
If you are in the market for a hard core offshore fishing platform that is equally capable of dockside entertainment or family cruising, this vessel should be on your short list.
