Transferrable moorage is a material value there, as dockage is hard to come by, plus not many Hatts out there. A Washington resident told me “we also pay too much for apples”.

100 hours on rebuilds, I'd still want an engine survey.

Looks to be in stunning condition. She may bring that or close. One thing is certain - in the current market there is almost no market for a project. This one looks "done" and done well.

West Coast used boat sales are on fire right now. Only a couple decent 1970-80's (all models) Hatts available. Solid boats don't last or even make it onto YW if priced fair.

$200-300k seems to be the sweet spot for vintage classics (53-65') in good shape. I could be wrong but that's probably the bottom of the depreciation curve.

I'm sure everyone goes on YW to check ask price on comps. I've been pleased to see a slight uptick in price since I bought in 2017.

Location is huge. PNW has money and limited supply of good classics and moorings. There may well be people that will pay the premium and it will be a blip on their budget.

Saw a 53 MY in Long Beach Ca. That looked super nice in the photos. It was listed at $275,000. It wasn’t listed long and already has a sale pending so it must be selling close to that price.
