I don’t know of a 100k 52. Saying you could buy the 53 for salvage, strip engines / gears etc then install the cats in another 52 needing repower for around 100k all in.

I always dreamed of the 3406's in my Bertram.
So, what would a rough, 1973 53' Hatteras, be worth with out engines.
or with a fine pair of RTO, 12V71TIs sitting next to it?
I could drag this mess back from Sav to Jax for my work.

    Any other options included?

Always wanted a cockpit on my Bertram. What is the beam of this 53 at the aft bulkhead where I would cut off the cockpit to super glue it to my B 58MY?

Anybody need a cut up hull with fly-bridge with a fine pair of RTO, 12V71TIs sitting next to it?

In all seriousness, and if you have time can you give us an example in a 3 stateroom convertible? Active YW listing? It's not that easy right now.

I think we need to hear from MisFits, he knows how this story ends.

Mayor Pete Buttgig the new Head of trans. Is saying we need new massive fuel taxes to discourage people like us to get rid of out fuel guzzling vehicles. Said in one speech minimum of $5/gal is needed to justify EV’s. Consider that the average Hatteras consumes around 7 million BTU /hour you’d sink the boat with the battery capacity required.
@$5+ your Hatteras is basically worthless
