I seem to remember there was a problem with the 50 hulls. There was some threads on here back some years ago.

Scott, think this version of the 50c hull/bottom is good, they do need a ton of HP to make them go fast.
Friend had one with the 12v MTU 183's, ran great, when it wasn't waiting for a visit from the MTU doctor.
The 50c that got stretched to make the 52c wasn't great, really needed the additional length in the stern, both for performance and fishing, they probably should have added 4 feet instead of 2.CRICKET
