Aslan is as good as she looks on the photos

I had the special opportunity to visit Captain Robert Clarkston on Aslan today who was gracious enough to give me the full technical tour. A boat famous for its bilge porn, she looks every bit as good in real life as in all the photos you have seen of her. Aslan is a fine example of a vintage Hatteras Yacht in mint condition. We are very lucky to have the knowledge base of guys like Robert on this forum and many others who share our passion of yachting in general and Hatteras Yachts specifically. Thank you Capt Clarkston, and all the others that help us keep our beloved Hatts in top shape.

Clearly, JR McCoy possess a discerning eye for nautical archeological artifacts. I, hereby, confer upon JR the rank of Executive Officer (Honorary), Aslan Public Relations Dept. with all rights and privileges pertaining thereto. It was a singular please to welcome aboard the master of Maggie Mae.

Thank you, Rusty. For your service as Aslan's longtime West Coast Liaison Officer (Hon.), I am pleased to promote you to the rank Capitan de Boston Whaler (3rd Class). Please accept this great honor and the gratitude of a grateful Bolivia.

The unintended humor of EXcepting and not ACcepting the honor is perfect for this thread.

And your decoder ring is in the mail. Be sure to drink your Ovaltine! I'm sure you all will get that.
