    DD Mechanic Recommendation -- Boston Area

    Need recommendations for a good Detroit Diesel mechanic in the Boston area to do a pre-purchase mechanical survey on twin 12V71 engines. Hoping one or more of the Gurus on this forum can help me out. You guys know everything about everything!

    Try Steve at Steve’s Shop in Charlestown 781 760 4672 cell good guy if he can’t ask if he will recommend someone

    Another DD diesel shop with a long history and familiar with 12v71's would be Fairhaven Shipyard just south of Boston. 508-999-1600 - Dave or 508-999-6266 ask for Kevin.
