    Nobody really knows much about geography and distances and relativity of size because we don't use paper maps and charts anymore. All of these screen based maps have dumbed it down.

    If you zoom out the Caribbean on Google maps you can develop a lot of geographical awareness. I don't think it's the tools that matter, people are just not interested anymore. I memorized countries and capitals and mountain ranges and rivers, world wide, in school. I was tested on these things. We just don't care now.
