    Bathroom lighting

Want to change an upgrade light fixtures above the medicine cabinet (master bathroom) and above the mirror in the v-birth guest bathroom. There is limited space - only about 3" above the mirror. Both fixtures the same; however, one is switched and the other has a switch on the fixture. Saw a couple at Lowe's but don't like them so much. Nothing I found online. Want LED lights. Any suggestions? By the way ... it's a 1973 38' Hatteras FBDC.

I kept the fixtures, cleaned them up, and replaced the florescent fixture inside the fixture with a linear LED fixture. It was pretty easy and I am happy with the results. The original fixtures cleaned up fine. The light is bright and fills the (outside) fixture just like the original florescent did (but brighter).

Did the same as Photolomy, the light is so bright now it scares you when you turn it on. John

Believe it or not, Sam's have the original fixtures in some cases- like the fixture over the sink for my 1971 Hatteras.... I like the LED flourescent idea, I'm going to try to find one of those..
