Thread: Redo of a 52.

  1. #1

    Redo of a 52.

I'm starting to pull everything out of a 52c for a complete update of electronics.

I won't be commenting on the previous people's work.

Since it snowed here last night I am envious of the weather you have to work in.

The PO on my boat left all those wires there too, just in case I needed to use them again.

Most were hooked up when I got started. The autopilot has about 1,000 cables.

I don't get that mentality. My boat was the same way. If they ran a new wire, they left the old. There were wires everywhere that went nowhere (when I was lucky, some were hot).

Same here. I think I could have paid a years worth of insurance if Id scrapped all the copper I removed from our boat.
