PS: I'm also thankful for my local hose shop and their thoughtfulness.

One has to admire the testicles it takes by the owner of this hose shop, to give the preverbal middle finger to the PC culture. He knows his customer base!
Happy Thanksgiving to all - this forum was the reason I jumped (and convinced my wife) that an old Hatt was the right boat for us!

Yeah, I already saved it.
I can understand the thing about public display, but I have to agree with RyanB, this PC stuff needs to go.
Oh,... and since he brought it up, this forum had a lot to do with my purchase decision over a decade and a half ago as well. I've never regretted it for a second. In fact, I've met some of the finest people I've ever known through this forum.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving to All My Hatteras Buddies
On another forum I would ask you if this eloquent and thoughtful statement means one can discriminate against anyone that doesn't think like you do legally, socially and economically, at will, but since this is a BOATING forum where we don't do that sort of thing I won't.
As far as the depiction in question, since this is not a T&A forum I think it doesn't belong here for reasons I won't get in to. Now if said "model" had been situated on a clearly identifiable vessel of the Hatteras make we would have a fair discussion, and THEN it would be removed.Last edited by oscarvan; 11-26-2020 at 12:47 PM.
