I’d like to buy about 150 feet of good quality dimmable 120v warm white LED rope lighting with several connector kits to cut it to length. This would be for the valances in the salon and master state room, and outdoor lighting on the flybridge.
Would the LED tape be better for the indoor valance application?
Any ideas?

Re: Rope lighting
I went to Apollo Lighting in Ft. Lauderdale and used rope lighting. Main reason is I was using 24v and they had it. The rope track was there as well so the R&R was easy. Apollo had and seems to have all voltage and most bulbs. Good luck.

Re: Rope lighting
The rope lighting I just installed is 120V. It is low wattage so the eventual inverter should have no problem with it. It is the usual LED tape, but encased in a translucent rubber tube. You can cut it every 50cm and the one I got had two power cords attachable to each end, so with one cut I had two, one being the perfect length for the salon, the other for future project. Comes with soft vinyl brackets with screws. A separate dimmer pack/with remote is required to dim it, and that too works nicely. I think they are very good value.
