What brand on paint was used in 1988, and is the non-skid the same paint with an additive or is it "non-skid paint". I'm getting ready to re-paint the non-skid surfaces and gleaning information. I have repaired gel coat boats and used acetone, for cleaning and prep, but not sure on a Hatteras.

Re: 1988 Paint Question
I just repainted my bow, and size deck areas with Jamestown Distributor, Total Boat Total Tread.
It has the non skid mixed in. Went on nice and so far looks great.. I wanted a very light grey, so mixed the white and grey together.

Re: 1988 Paint Question
Edward is incorrect. That was an older number. In 1988 it was actually Dupont Imron 67766U which is no longer available. The new number is Axalta Imron Elite #883769.
I know because I've painted/matched it.Sky Cheney

Re: 1988 Paint Question
Wilson, What did you do to prep the old non-skid for the new coat?
