    $60k Hatteras 52C

Cheapest I've seen, hoping to find this exact deal in 5 years from now when I retire!

In 5 years when fossil fuels are on the way out she'll probably be even cheaper.

And hopefully so will the fuel. I do agree with you that we are probably the last generation that gets to burn the stuff with reckless abandon and I am enjoying that.......

As oil becomes less plentiful and less avaiable it will typically drop in price, no?

There's plenty of oil and a lot of people putting kids through college in that industry. As consumers move away from it because the alternatives become more and more enticing demand will fall and supply will exceed it and competition for consumer dollars will increase.

Eventually the business will become unprofitable and as brands disappear supply will decrease. But on the way down it will exceed the demand.

My opinion and worth what you paid for it.......

Don't tell me that! My long range expedition plans won't work with a sailboat.

Buy it now. It will take 5 years to get it ready.

As long as trucks are still doing most of the hauling of our goods all over our fine continent I think there were be fuel for us to waste. I only need it for another 30 years or so. I would be more concerned about natural gas, I hate being cold in the winter and I think south Florida is full.

I'm sure that's "phase out" the plan. Make diesel $5/Gal and lots less of it will be sold.
