    The main strut has 1 and 1/2 bearings in it. I had to cut 1 bearing in 1/2 to use on each side.

    Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm going to do some calling around this week and see what I can find out. Anybody happen to have a part number or know the sizes of the bearings for a 2.5" shaft on a 52c?

    I bought my bearings from Sams. You'll get exactly what you need and you don't have to do the research.
