Re: Yeah, It's a Bertram but ya gotta see this

Seems like a lot of boat for the money. Probably would be a great first fishing boat for someone just based on what was done. And you get the Bertram name to boot.

I kicked the tires for a while, but am a serious buyer currently and this owner is pretty unresponsive. Unsure what he is doing with the boat.

They are about to close on another boat and sent me some additional info. Giving the information around the grounding, would you buy if she survey out good? How will that effect resale long term?

Would like to know the cruising speed of this 54' Bertram with 12-71s versus a 55' Hatteras with 12-71s.

Re: Yeah, It's a Bertram but ya gotta see this

Eddie - So sorry about being unresponsive.

My Bertram 54' Big Buddy is on the C Dock at Bahia Mar ... New master AC going in next week, new zincs, bottom cleaned, freshly tuned 3 blade props are on and a spare set of freshly tuned 4 blades are in the cockpit.

We now have all of our stuff off the boat and we had the inside cleaned.

I have been busy with the new boat and a long list of freshen-up items.

I plan to send the Bertram 54' back to Daytona where I have a slip at Daytona Marina / Charthouse Restaurant on 10-18-2020.

We are now Hatteras owners. Our 2006 Hatteras 80' will be called "Mr. Hat"

Cruise is 18-20 knots (1850) depending on load and bottom clean.
