    Fuel range

Curious…….does anyone run a single engine and autopilot to increase fuel range?

You need to check to make sure your transmissions can freewheel without overheating or oil starvation first. Some are designed to, some aren't. Your manuals should say. Your best increase in fuel economy is always going to be slowing down. 6-7 knots instead of 9 will yield more savings than operating on a single engine.

Ask Freebird, he’s the resident single engine expert. Got my single engine with a bow thruster restriction sign off from him a few years ago.
