    What LED to use in lieu of 34v 50w

    I replaced all my 32V incandescent lights, except for the searchlight, with LEDs from 12vmonster.com

    Which Monster light bulb did you use? Did you use them in the overhead light fixtures which require a low profile bulb? Thanks,Bob

    Hi Ian;

    Good to see you on the forum.

    I've been replacing the 50W DC Incandescents with these:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DNBHJ6D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    They're a direct replacement.

    What Vessel do you have and which marina?
    We've have "Chartmaker"; a 1978 53MY going on seven years now and are in Emery Cove. We recently moved over from Berkeley after having been on the waiting list for a large, 60 Ft slips for many years.

    As you may know, these ships are like a craftsmen bungalow and require constant stewardship.

    In the last 2 months for instance I've replaced the water pump on the generator, removed the washer and dryer and am preparing the W&D space for new modern stackables with plumbing and electrical modifications, replacing a throttle cable today, always varnishing, painted the eyebrow, replacing the davit crane motor shortly, replaced BOTH 32 Volt battery banks in the last 60 days, and the list continues, but you get the idea.

    If you do a drive-by past Emery-Cove, Chartmaker is front-row center on B-Dock, on full display from the street.

    Good luck.

    I used the "corn row" (13W I think) in the engine rooms and the ceiling fixtures. I used others, with the Edison type filaments, in the other lights. They may have cone from Marine Beam.

    They have them with the globe, just not the "no-globe" ones.
