Me, too. And I've got all the boat I want, right now. Going on thirty years with the same boat, as a matter of fact. I owe a tip of the Hatt to Seaeric who not only found me this boat, but talked me out of trading up at least one time I can recall.

Re: Original Prices....
We have been so slow at work lately that I stumbled upon the promotional films hatteras made in the seventies. Very enjoyable to watch. The woman watersiking behind e the 36 convertible was great. Its too bad more films weren't made of more models. I especially like the part of the narration that says our boats are maintained free!

Re: Original Prices....
My lovely bride dies laughing every time we watch the 53 Motor Yacht film. I personally lose it when the gentleman with the navy blazer and Caddy Shack green pants gets the binoculars out.
But yes, they are neat to have.1978 53' Motor Yacht "LADY KAY V"

Re: Original Prices....
I think I remember someone sent me a price list for my 1966 41c. Something around 60k comes to mind.

Here's one for the 43DC. I don't know where I got it, but mine is 1976 so perhaps around that time.

Re: Original Prices....
I had the original documents for the boat, Krush can probably post it. The sale price if I was reading it right was about 250k. Maybe I am misinterpreting the paperwork. 250k is equivalent to about 1.7 million now if all things are equal that’s probably right.

Re: Original Prices....
Not sure why I had 250 in my head but it’s gone now. The original invoice was $108,220.00. She sold for 139k in 1989.
