I know Aslan sold new in 1983 for $473,000 FOB Tampa because I have the paper.

That's crazy to me. At $6 per hour at that point in my life I don't think I could swing the payment!

Buyer was principal of a Tampa Ford dealership. He passed away in the 90’s at close to 90. Safe to say he was well above $6.

SEVEN sold for 405,000.00 in 2004. It was 25 years old then.

I think in 1971 when my boat was built, Hatteras were about a big buck a foot, roughly. So, with various extras, a 36 convertible would have been about forty thousand dollars. Does that sound about right? I don't know of any archive of original prices.
