Several years ago, when SPCoolin was still alive, I replaced the whole compressor/condenser unit I bought from him. It was the same price as the compressor alone and much easier to swap out.

Boozuby, I can hook you up with a local marine AC guy who can maybe get you taken care of sooner. He has swapped out 2 of my compressors. One died just like yours. Other was just on it's way out.

I had the same issue. Low freon was the problem with mine. Once that was elevated, it works great.
