    Cockpit Raw Water Quick Connect question

    The valve on the cockpit raw water male quick connect fitting is corroded on my 52C. The valve no longer depresses and allows the ball bearings on the female connector to lock onto the flange. Other than replacement, any suggestions or advice on how to loosen and make operable again?

    Having same problem, going to take it off and soak in white vinegar for 3-4 hours, seems to work on everything corroded by saltwater.
