Im new to this forum so please excuse my ignorance. Im in the process of updating and restoring my 67 Hat 34 The anodes on the trim tabs and rudders are worn. There are 4 total ive foundUnder the waterline. They measure about 3 inches. But its hard to tell what they used to be. Does it matter if i get a larger size. 4 or 5 inch. Im assuming bigger is better.

Re: Zincs?!
I think you will find that the availability of 3.5 inch is best, seem to be a “standard” size, at least out west. John

Re: Zincs?!
To answer your question, no it won't matter if you put a slightly larger zinc on the rudders and trim tabs. Make sure that the metal is clean so the zinc will make good contact. On the shaft zinc tighten it as much as you can, hit the middle of the zinc on each side and then tighten it again.
