    NY Restrictions Issued Today

Hopefully this will be modified as other such restrictions have been in other states.

    Re: NY Restrictions Issued Today

Here is the news from Maryland: Can you travel by boat through Maryland?

While there are no orders limiting travel through Maryland by boat or car at this time, travelers are advised to make trips only for essential purposes. If travelers have been in close contact with others, we urge them to avoid close contact with others in Maryland and self-monitor for symptoms. If any symptoms develop, they should self-quarantine and contact a health care provider. We are also urging travelers to follow CDC guidance on domestic travel, which can be found here: cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/travel-in-the-us.html.

Doesn't look much different than what we're already doing. Hopefully we can stop not doing it soon.

Michigan just extended the stay-at-home order here until April 30.

Just another opinion, but my brother works in research at UMD, in coordination with NIH.

It is their collective opinion that this will go beyond June.

    Sorry, hope they're wrong.

Eventually... this week doesn't look good. Nor does next week. NY is pretty beat up right now. Like five cops sitting on a suspect still trying to get the cuffs on. No sense of humor right now.

FL, MD, and VA started out the same way. They were trying to address the stupid boaters who were rafting up and partying on sandbars while disregarding the social distancing thing. Cooler heads prevailed when they realized how many people travel up and down the ICW for reasons other than partying with friends. Hopefully NY will take notice and follow suit. Closing the ICW would be like closing I-95.

No doubt. MD does not encourage you to come ashore though. Nor do the others. Many marinas closed. You better have some big tanks. Or wait a few months. This too shall pass.
