    Correct. Taxed as 2nd home (6%) or as primary residence (4%) of the county millage rate X assessed value. In my personal case, annual property taxes (at current boat value) will exceed the potential sales tax liability from a FL sale and title in about 21 years.

    I have a feeling we are all going be "assessed" for the bill for this little pandemic we're having at EVERY level of government.

    So your statement may still be true, after the FL sales tax AND your local property taxes go up.....
