    Re: Northeast 2020

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always a big difference when its famik not just numbers.

Here in Florida we are lucky enough to be distanced from the worst but I have a lot of family on the island and in the city I worry about.

    Stay safe and healthy.

Oh Nick, so sorry for your loss. There are no words. Stay strong my friend.

I know we are still several months out from the rendezvous, but Block Island just announced
a mandatory 14 day "on the water" quarantine for all boats. No facilities or services are
    available at this time.

With that in mind, the Northeast Rendezvous is tentatively planned for July 31st thru August 2nd at Payne's Dock on Block Island. So mark your calendars and stay healthy. Summer's coming.
its positive effects are showing everywhere

I am sure this is having a crippling effect on the Block Island economy. Maybe as it gets closer things will change.

    I hope all are safe.

Since it's come up, I looked at Payne's site and Dockwa and it appears that they will be open. What is everybody's feeling on proceeding? To risky, or can't wait to get out of the house?

There is also a 14 day maximum for anchoring there. So you can just look at the Island from your boat for two weeks and then leave! Catch 22....

That is now over there will be no quarantine time unless coming from a closed state but I don't know of any near us, old article and things change every day.
