The amp-draw at 32V is theoretically as you state later at around 712A... but I STILL only have a 100A fuse from the respective battery bank to the starter. So I'd have to argue that the actual amp draw isn't that egregious. If I can get someone to work with me one day I'll place my Fluke Clamp Ammeter on the starter and watch it while we crank one of the "girls".
