It might be. I cruise 11.2 knots at 1525 RPM on 12v71TI's. I back down to 1450 RPM, still manage 10.8, but cut my fuel burn from 16 to 12. So every boat is different, and every barnacle has a different impact, but more or less you'll get a range around 1nm/g with genny, maybe slightly better in the right conditions.
