Re: Coolest Ever
Very cool. I once sat down for dinner at a nice restaurant in the Port of Los Angeles.... They were just finishing up docking a container ship (not huge but good size) across the channel. We were there for a while including desert and coffee but by the time my check came he had unloaded and loaded 40 or so boxes and was shoving off....... Guess no shore leave for those guys.

Re: Coolest Ever
I like this one better. Its a downbound freighter on the St Marys River. He gets stuck in the ice and the ice breaker Mackinaw comes to his rescue.

Re: Coolest Ever
This is pretty cool too - Race starts at about 5:00. Great first few laps until they go flying on the straightaway. I sure miss hearing these boats run in Seattle.

Re: Coolest Ever
Yep, and down to about 80 in the turns. This boat looks like it will fly at about 155 so the throttle leg must be pretty cramped up. Not a lot of room for error.
