    NEW TURBO Source

Need to replace two Turbos on my 8V92TI's. Turbo housing "lip" where clamp connects it to exhaust collector/mixer is corroded.

Any recommended suppliers - no core returns as my location makes core return economically unfeasible.

Dieselpro has "NEW" ones online- but they can't confirm country of manufacture- I'm not comfortable with that- Any comments?

Thanks. I checked but they only have series 60 turbos.

Btw- this is the condition of the lip or flange I referenced.

    Wrong East Coast Diesel.

Post a part number I'll see what I can find.

I show part number to be 465030-9007 from my last purchase ( Its a Garrett I believe)

RPM Diesel in Ft Lauderdale has only one in stock at the moment, so I prefer a source where I can ship all items together, if possible.

    Re: NEW TURBO Source

Have you checked with any local welders? May be able to grind the flange off and weld a new? Not even sure if this is possible? But, I would imagine that if the flange is that bad, the internal clearances are off as well.

Curious how it got that bad, was there some saltwater coming back into it? Or just old and tired?

    Re: NEW TURBO Source

I've tried several sources and it looks like none of the distributors I work with have any stock and Garrett is 8 weeks lead time.

I don't know if you're looking to wait that long. Sorry we can't come up with something better right now.

Thanks for the effort. I’m still searching for one. Hope this isn’t a sign of parts availability to come!

Rpm diesel is searching for the other.

Has anyone used the “Dieselpro” new ones? They may be Chinese- not sure of this for turbo- the failure of which can ha e dire consequences.
