    AC Panel Illumination Bulbs CM1828

1986 63 MY. All 8 of the panel illumination bullbs on my AC panel are burned out (that way when bought).
Bulb is CM1828. Stamped on casing is 37.5v, 50 milli-amps. Multimeter reading at each bulb socket is
74v. I find it unusual for all 8 bulbs to be burned out. Wondering if the culprit is the 74v.

Anyone have any idea of what the voltage should be (assume 37.5) and how it gets stepped down to
to that voltage in a 120/240 panel?

Per chance the PO put the wrong bulbs in the AC panel? Those are used in many places, such as holding tank 3/4 full indicators, but off the battery (32V), not AC. Maybe the PO thought they went there as well?

Call Sams on Monday. Ask Steve which bulbs you need just in case the PO put the wrong ones in there.

    Nobody questioned the 74v reading?
