    Re: Hilton Head To Annapolis

Bird, let me know your schedule. I work on the 20th, but I don't know if you'll be here then. I am off the 21st, let's see when you get here. Also off the 22nd.

I found Beauford Inlet to be kind of an eye opener on the handling of our 43DC on a good day.

Made it to River Forest Marina in Belhaven and just got back from dinner. A little lumpy and a tad chilly, but the boat ran great. Filled up here and still getting about 1MPG with a combination of hull speed and on plane at 2,200. Coinjock tomorrow.

    You changed your schedule, dintcha?

It’s okay. Just leave your credit card information at the restaurant you planned to take me too, and I’ll post pics. Seriously, if all goes as planned, I’ll wrap this up Monday and fly home on Tuesday. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll catch you next time.

If all goes well, you can get from Coinjock to The Rappahannock River. Don't forget Chesapeake Boat Basin for an overnight. 804-436-1234. Clay and Lisa are the owners...super folks.

Try the desserts at the restaurant, mixed reviews on the prime rib, but the pastry chef is an artist.

The prime rib was tasty, but far from the best I’ve had. Too full afterwards to try dessert, but I did buy a Coinjock hat to make it official. Deltaville tomorrow.

Got a little sporty in the bay, but we made it to Deltaville with no issues. Tomorrow promises to be equally sporty with the added attraction of colder temps. 106 mile run tomorrow, but definitely not at hull speed. Ran on slow plane in the bay with the tabs down. Same plan tomorrow.
