We have a 70' Custom Sportfish for sale thats at Cable Marine - 200' downwind of that fire. The Captain is working to get the smoke/ash/chemical mess cleaned off the finish and the metal work. He reports that some of the metal looks almost etched from whatever fallout landed. Not good.

Yes, ash fallout is very damaging if not removed within hours.
