    Missed my supper tonight

Wife called me from the marina wanting to know where the discharge hose was for the crash pump. I told her where and she said a boat was sinking. I asked was it ours and she said no. Line went dead. Drove there and this is what I found

I finally convinced them that putting enough weight on the bow would raise the ass to keep it from taking on water. 3 pumps @2" wasn't doing it cause it was running in the "waterproof" hatches. With 8 people and 6 fuel cans on the bow it finally raised out of the water to pump dry. They put her on the travel lift and no holes or penetrations anywhere. Notice captain swimming around the rescue boat once it arrived

There, now they be rightside up.

Does anyone else see a little irony in this ordeal?

Irony. You should send them a bill for salvage.

Yep, gotta admit it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence when the rescue boat needs rescuing.

Looks like an exciting day though.

    Re: Missed my supper tonight

It sank because the water was on the wrong side of the hull.😳
