Thread: boat purchase

    boat purchase

After buying a 53 MY in Alabama, and re-fitting her, it is getting time to move her to the new winter location, in SW florida.

However, being new to this boat, I would like to hire a captain to help with the boat. Trip would be from mobile Alabama to Tampa Bay area, in early December.

Can anyone recommend a candidate ?

    regards

I second Freebird aka Randy. Good teacher, very careful, and jumps right in when our old boats fart. Call Randy, u won't be dissappointed.

Can you add the name of the boat, the year, and also the hull number to your signature line. You can see the bottom of this post for how we do it. Congratulations on your 53’. I love mine and am available if you have questions.

Much as I hate to admit it, I would get Randy, too. LOL You'll be in good hands and it will be entertaining.

I have been a member here for years my friend. This is my 2nd Hatteras. I have a 41DC that I keep in the great lakes. There are pics of my 41 on the gallery.

Totally understand. The reason I asked was only to help you with your 53’. There are numerous 53’ owners that can help with any questions but it makes it easier if we knew the year.

    Re: boat purchase

Thanks for the recommendations, and sorry my mailbox was full. What can I say?... I’m a popular guy! Seriously, it had nowhere near the max capacity, so let the jokes begin! 😄

I sent you a PM before I saw this post, and I’d be happy to move your boat.
