    ISO 1960's / Early 70's Hatteras 38' or 41'Tri Cabin

    Hi Guys,

I am currently looking to purchase a 1960's / Early 70's Hatteras 38' or 41'Tri Cabin. Any leads of any available boats would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Pat

    I don't remember a tri-cabin model in that length. Do you mean a 44?

I think they either called them a tri cabin or a double cabin...

DC is Double Cabin , 38 or 41 in thise years.

TC or Twin Cabin only in the 41.

IIRC there were tri-cabin Hatteras MYs in the 44 length and the 58. I think those are the only ones in the years you mention. There may have been other three-cabin boats later on, I am less familiar with those.

They made a 38DC that had a third over/under stateroom on the starboard side.

I have a 1967 44' Triple Cabin thats for sale Detroit 8v71 naturals. I was just getting ready to list it for sale. It's located here in Myrtle Beach, SC. Just went back in the water after being on the hill for a month to get a bunch of work done on the bottom.

I was going to list her for $55k. She's not perfect and has some projects that I have been trying to get done but with the heat this summer and my 16 month old son I haven't been able to get to them. I just had the pleasure of having another survey done on her back in April and she was valued in the low 60's. The 8v71's are in great shape with original hours and never majored. They fire right up and don't smoke at all under load. I had her out a couple weeks ago and got caught in 8 to 10 footers and she handled it well. If you are interested I can be reached at (330) 233-3782 . If possible send me a text message prior to calling so I recognize the number. I almost always answer unless I don't know the number.

    Thanks,

Nice looking boat, of a model you don't see that often. You should post more photos.
