Tony, do you worry about the hull-side windows leaking or getting opened by a beam sea? I have seen these on a number of modern boats and wondered about the integrity of them.

Jim. I have always wondered about the integrity of hull side windows. These are small in comparison to what is being built today. I have owned the boat for only 1 1/2 years now. I do not see any evidence of leakage from me or the previous owners.

I agree, the ones in contemporary yachts are huge. It's hard for me to believe that such a window would have the integrity of a one-piece FRP hull, no matter what the window is made of or how it's bonded into the hull opening. Glad yours don't leak.
I looked at the video on the Cheoy Lee- nice boat, very good layout.
