I had my boat shrink wrapped this past season and had done it only once before years ago with no problem. This year the shrink wrap was not brought down below the water line and the imron paint has bubbled along both sides of the bow. So I've opened an insurance claim, but just looking for an idea of painting costs so that the insurance company doesn't try to short me. I'm scheduled to launch later this week (after adjuster does inspection), so I won't tackle any of the damages til after the season. Any ideas on cost, or other advice on handling insurance would be much appreciated.

Re: Paint costs
If you can get some 508u IMRON it can be blended ,without much of an edge. See if you can find some older Imron # 508u. 5.0. VOC. . Edward

Re: Paint costs
That's a shame, but as he said, it's possible to blend Imron in, which is an advantage over AwlGrip. Good luck on this one.
