My offer accepted on a 45C

Well to those who followed my crazy idea of running my 37C from Mobile Alabama through the Panama Canal then on to Huntington Beach Ca. Cooler heads prevailed and My offer on a 45C was accepted. Oil analysis and surveys to begin next week.
She is cosmetically challenged but it does give me and a buddy of mine something to do.

I have to get back to Mobile to get some repairs completed on my 37 and sell her. There has been significant interest.

    Just thought I'd share

What year 45C? There are a couple of 45Cs. Good luck on all this, they are great boats regardless of which one you have, early or late.

    Early. A 72 I have to learn a bit about the 8V71N as my 37 has a pair 671N.
She is cosmetically challenged but most of what she needs is not new to us. Will need to learn to paint foredeck and cockpit with anti slip.

Super! Tons of fun projects in your future. My wife recently asked me if I think I would ever buy another boat. (I'm 63 and starting to think about retirement.) I said probably no, but thinking about it, I've pretty much done everything I can do to upgrade my '79 43C short of replacing the engines. And they are perfectly good running 6v92ta's. so I don't see me doing that. But thinking about it, I really need a project boat to keep me happy. Hmmm.
