The removal of the aft deck side walls on a 58MY series 1 (aka the bus) makes for an interesting mod. I don't think I've seen this done before but it makes for a nice open-air back deck.

I saw a listing back in 1990 for a 1977 58MY that had no side panels. It definitely did look different.

I like the open look but would keep the lower part. I think it would look better. The 58 MY aft deck is way too enclosed and hot in summertime. Feels cramped
