    Re: Under water lights

Removed 4 OceanLeds, 3 out of 4 went pad.
Replaced with Lumitec SeaBlazeX Spectrums 3 years ago.
Much much brighter and 1/4 of the cost of replacement OceanLeds.
They change color when turned on, just quickly flip the switch on and off to select a color.
Or they sell them in single or duel color models.
Just noticed, while checking our model name, they now have SeaBlazeX2 out, might be some deals on the original model.
Looks like X2 is a little brighter than the originals which I thought were already very bright.

I went with Aqualuma and have very happy. Love the bright blue light. They are pricey but easily changed out from inside the boat. No need for a haul out.

    Re: Under water lights

OceanLED invented the underwater LED, and have been first in most things including failures. They also had issue with warranty. Now they have worked out the bugs and continue to be the leader. The have a new model that is 11,000 lumins, about twice what anyone else can do. Viking has committed to these in a new build they have on the books. Pricy, but amazing. All the buzz at Miami Boat Show.

Duel to the water tank I was only able to install (2). One on each side of the water tank. I may add some to the side of the boat near the stern on the next haul out. Although I’m not sure if it’s worth the money and effort.

Do you have pictures at night? I think I would want two on the stern near the swim platform.

I like the lumishore ones. It's a great product.

4 on the stern looks awesome. Prefer blue. Seablaze. No pics here, so It may not have happened.

    Re: Under water lights

No pictures now and the water is to muddy to get a good look. If you’re in salt water it goes out about 50’. If you have an exterior mount type with just wires going thru the hull you can put 4 or more in. With Aqualuma they are thru hills and you can only put two in the stern because of the water tank. Look up Aqualuma on West Marine. I went with the top of the line most luminous.
