    Ship Commissioning Next Month

If any of y'all are planning on being in the Charleston area the first Saturday in March, you should request tickets.

She ain't real pretty, but she can move and with just a crew of 40.

Of shared interest with all of us, they are very concerned with galvanic corrosion.

I've seen those ships coming in and out of San Diego. They are very impressive.

Amazing........ When I was a kid back in the 40's I followed Buck Rogers and that's the kind of stuff
they had in the strip at the time...I never figured I'd live long enough to actually see the real thing.
    Simply amazing......

    Kid in the 40's?

Come on Walt. Something believable please.

But technology is great. Especially when you get to use it for fun and enjoyment.

Remember 10 years ago a remote control helicopter was not only expensive but hard to pilot. Today it's a phone app.

I have to say its impressive knowing how active you are at your age. My dad is 82 and uses his boat more than I have time to myself.

I hope I am as able to do as much when I'm your age.

How are you dealing with not having the hatt anymore?

As spring approaches I am starting to experience severe Hatteras withdrawals. Last night I dreamed
that I bought a 60' MY. It was so vivid that I was really depressed when I woke up and realized it was
just a dream......oh well I can always fly down to Fla and ride on yours...lol.
