    Can Anyone ID This Trim?

This is edge trim for the fabric overhead in Aslan. It probably is not OEM, and I checked the Sam's parts site first. Could it be OEM? It has a Figure 8 cross-section; the core is cord. The outer covering is the same as the overhead; I don't know the overhead material. The trim is 1/2" wide by 1/4" thick.

I could use 15+ feet of the white.

Here is a shot of some extra I have in tan.

    Any advice?

it looks like a hydem strip. they do come in different shapes.
an upholstery shop or maybe sailrite. matching the shape might be troublesome.

Thanks. That's pretty close other than width. Seems 3/4" is more or less standard. Sure need to find some 1/2" stuff.

Took a sample to a local trim shop that's been in business since '51. They ran me off a sample in about two minutes and'll make all I want. It sure is nice to find local shops that don't see everything as a problem.

I was about to post telling you a local shop should be able to make all you want, glad you got taken care of!

Pursuant to the above request, here's the trim that I had made locally. They charged me $30 which worked out to $2/ft. I am very happy.
