O-Ring for Hynautic Steering Reservoir Fill Plug

It was really hard to find the correct O-ring for my Hynautic steering reservoir. Seemed nuts to have to pay $17 + shipping for a a whole rebuild O-ring set. So, as a public service to my fellow Hatteratonians, be advised that a #14 O-ring ($0.28) fills the bill. #14 measures 15/16 x 3/4 X 3/32".

Thanks Robert. Did you have a leak or just preventative maintenance?

Rusty, I was doing routine maintenance and noticed the reservoir pressure wasn’t holding. I replaced the schrader, but noticed the O-ring had flattened out pretty good. Back to 30 PSI and holding steady.
