I have one on board from the PO and its been of since day one and cant figure out why it was installed.
What was yours used for?

It converts 32V down to 12V for mainly 12V electronics or other 12V applications (lights, 12V plug, etc.) on the flybridge. A DC to DC converter.

I figured so, he also installed a 12v system and I think it is off because of this.
Just one of them many obsolete systems on the boat.
