Craig, there are a number of marinas on Watts Bar Lake which is where I am, but I think you would be better served in your situation to look at the following:
Chattanooga

Knoxville

There are a few nice marinas on Tellico Lake just west of Knoxville, but they are a tad "out there" as is the case with many marinas on Watts Bar. I keep my boat at a small, newly renovated marina in Kingston which is called, Long Island Marina. It's very small and very short on amenities, but it's very close. I'm not sure if they have any availability, but I'll be happy to check for you.
