Live shore power cord in salt water - Worry about Electrolysis?

Yesterday I noticed my neighbors 30 amp shore power cord had fallen out (42 Bertram) and into the (salt) water. The connection was still live as pedestal breakers did not trip. Not sure how long the live cord was in water. Marina Manager tells me happens frequently and seldom issues with Electrolysis. The cord was about 8' from closest underwater metal on my boat which is bonded with galvanic isolator and also plugged into same pedestal electrical circuit. Scale of 1 to 10, 10 being short haul the boat even though coming out for winter in 2-3 weeks, how concerned do you think I should be with this? Real world experience much appreciated. Theory seems to indicate I should be very concerned. Thanks! Scott

Pull it out of the water and don’t worry about it.

If I'm understanding things correctly, Hatteras wisely equipped it's boats with isolation transformers so galvanic corrosion caused by electrical issues on other boats or the marina itself are not a problem..... Someone set me straight if that is not correct.

I wouldn’t worry about it. If it happens by accident to one of my neighbors I d pick up and secure it but unfortunately this seems to be very common in Miami. I see cords with heavy growth on them. I guess the divers don’t clean cords

The 43DC of that vintage did not have isolation transformers.

But I still wouldn't worry about it.
