Re: Pressure tank glass relief valve

    Seven,
On mine the solenoid valve is very easy to get to.
It is accessible from the port side double doors to get to the inside of the fly bridge console.
Open the doors and look straight ahead (let me know if you want a photo of mine).

I don't know if Sam's still has the valve in stock but here is the valve data:

Manufacture, Skinner Electric (maybe now Parker and was Honeywell).
    Valve number, V52DA1100
    Code number, FR3
    Coil voltage, 32 VDC
    10 Watts
    100 psi
1/8" orifice (very important if your get an after market valve).
Process port size 1/8" female NPT
    Description, Two-way NC solenoid valve.

Re: Pressure tank glass relief valve

After replacing the Bendix, installed a brand new air filter, checked all the connections with a stethoscope and didn’t hear any leaks. I then went back to all the fittings and poured soapy water on them. well tgere it was a small air leak that blew bubbles. There was no noise no hissing. I tightened the fitting and the tank has held 120 PSI for 6 hours so far. Thanks for all of your ideas on what to look for. Now on to the next fix.

Re: Pressure tank glass relief valve

Just a follow up on the air leak fix. My wife just dropped by the boat to pick up a few things. We had not been there for 3 weeks. I asked her to check the pressure gauge. To my surprise it still had 45 PSI after 3 weeks. This project is considered done thanks for everyone’s help and guidance.
