Cleanliness is next to...well it's just good

After 21 hours underway, this is the condition of my engine bilges.

    Yep, those Detroits sweat oil.

Needless to say, some effort to achieve this end was undertaken.

One of these days I hope my ER looks half as clean as yours.

Well, you're gonna clean up all them paper towels flyin' around in there?

Mine drip about that much. Of course they are not Detroits, so it counts less.

Naw, I spill oil working on stuff. First oil runs down my leg. When my shoe fills up, the pig mats catch it.

During an oil change I spilled oil in the bilge. I got it all clean up real good. Then I stepped on the carpet. Not once, not twice but several times. Full foot prints of used black oil.

You sure you haven't busted your motors??? My guess is they're just saving up...

Alternatively, you should have seen one of Freebird's ERs...he went thousands of miles and didn't have even one additional drip in that ER. That engine was getting thousands of miles per gallon, too!
