Tomorrow is my last day of work before heading out on a ten day fishing/cruising trip down to Key West. Will spend two nights at a marina in Marathon and the rest of the trip on the hook.

But in my defense we have been on Kauai all month.
I'll run her plenty during August, then we go to Hawaii (Big Island) for the month of September.
Well that is at least a Good reason not to be boating

Hatt Rendezvous this weekend then a 10 day trip starting next week.

We had a nice shake down cruise on Saturday , 7/21, getting her ready for some family and friend visits coming up. The Atlantic was gorgeous. This is about 8 miles out on the way back to Worth Inlet - West Palm and Singer Island just in view.

I moved my 58' Yachtfish back on July 2nd from Highland Beach to Cracker Boys in Riveria Beach by the Lake Worth Inlet at Palm Beach. Spent the night in the Riviera Beach Marina which the city owns. New floating docks, restaurant, Tiki Bar all redone since the hurricane.
Tuesday I fly to Ft Lauderdale and on 8/1 Needs, Wants & Desires is splashed and taken back to Highland Beach.
One cruise in July and one in August, so far!

Glad to see so many being used.

Sad to see so many not.

I spent yesterday pulling cooling systems on 540c cummins and today just too tired to take a run. Inserting up a group to run next Sunday am for a champagne cruise so i have no excuse. This week I just had no energy left.

Did two 3 day 3 night trips this month out to 180 miles in the gulf of mexico. Is a personal record, trying to make it stick by doing it again this coming weekend! We burned approx 1800gals of diesel total so far.

Engine oil change is due before this next trip!!

I ran my boat to several Marinas for overnights, and several off shore trips. Kings and snappers on the reefs Off Daytona Beach.

I will do more next month, if no Hurricanes.

We’ve put perhaps 15 hours on the engines over June and July. One overnight to another Marina and the hosted a luncheon for about 24 on the hook in Tiberon, the giving the guests,m my board of directors from our YC a cruise through San Francisco Bay in warmth... they are mostly sailors and used to sailing in the SF Bay in cold open cockpits. Installing seals in the FB steering pump this next week, wish us well.Chuck Bullett53MY “Chartmaker”
